Gray Screen Mode

In addition to the 5250 emulation mode, a second JSP is createdthat you can customize using your favorite editor. With just a little HTML knowledge, you can quickly modify your application to look like one of the following screens:

The left-hand version takes perhaps five minutes; the right-hand maybe ten. Most of the differences between the two versions are implemented using a style sheet, plus a little bit of HTML magic in the case of the dropdown list in the right-hand version. Even somebody with a limited knowledge of HTML can make the kinds of changes shown in these two panels using nothing more than a simple text editor. The goal of PSC/400 is to allow you to quickly and easily add web features to your existing applications, without having to learn a whole new set of skills and tools.
